摘要：南非醉茄是印度阿育吠陀传统草药，其产品热销印度和欧美等国家。南非醉茄含有醉茄内酯、生物碱、甾体等活性成分，有调节免疫、降血糖血脂、抗压、保护神经等多种功能。本文就这些功能及南非醉茄在食品饮料中的应用进行了介绍。

The Function of Withania Somnifera and its Application in Food and Beverage

Abstract: Withania somnifera is a commonly used herb in Ayurvedic medicine，and is popular in India and Europe. Withania somnifera containing inner ester，alkaloid，steroids and other active ingredients，has the function of lowering blood glucose and lipid，immunomodulatory，antistress，protecting nerves and so on. This paper presents these functions and the application of Withania somnifera in food and beverage.
